The deal
Short, because a long one nobody reads protects nobody.

What Lux is right now
Early software, run by one person. You can create a business, publish a public page, and sign in to manage it. The rest of what the home page describes is being built, and is marked as such wherever it appears rather than implied to exist.
It is free while it is this early. If that changes you will be told before it does, not after, and never by a charge simply appearing.
What is expected of you
- Publish content you have the right to publish.
- Do not use Lux to deceive people, or to host anything unlawful.
- Do not attack the service or try to reach another business's data.
- Keep your password to yourself, and say so if you think someone else has it.
An account doing any of the above can be suspended. If that happens you will be told why and you can reply to a person.
Your content stays yours
Everything you write and upload belongs to you. Lux stores it and shows it to visitors because that is what you asked it to do, and claims no other right to it. Ask, and you get it back.
What is not promised
There is no uptime guarantee, no support response time, and no compensation if the service is unavailable. That is the honest position for software at this stage. It will be replaced with real commitments when they can be kept rather than hoped for.
Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. Backups exist and restoring has been rehearsed, which is not the same as a promise.
Ending it
You can stop using Lux whenever you like and ask for your account to be deleted. If Lux itself is going to shut down, you get notice, an export of your content, and time to move.
